Cosy Cats

CosyCats provides 50 breakfast and after school places for 50 weeks of the year. 25% of these are heavily subsidised for disadvantaged children. These facilities are open to all sections of the community in the town.

We are grateful to Sligo County Childcare Committee for the support and the guidance received from them particularly the director.

Policies and procedures have been prepared covering a wide range or relevant issues and are available on request.

Programme: Cosy Cats – Times of Opening

(a) Monday to Friday

Breakfast Club for Primary School age

7.45 a.m. to 9.15 a.m. for 36 weeks (Breakfast included)

Pre-School

9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. for 45 weeks

Enquiries for full day care to the manager.

Primary school children will be brought to school from the breakfast club. They will also be collected from school and brought to Cosy Cats.

After School for Primary School age

1.40 p.m. (exact time to suit individual schools) to 6.00 p.m. (2 course nutritional lunch and homework club included)

1.40 p.m. to 2.40 p.m.

(b) Saturdays (from 2008)

Primary School age

8.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (Snack and 2 course nutritional lunch included)

(c) Holiday Club for Primary School age

Monday to Friday

8.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. for 12 weeks (9 weeks of this will include pre-school age)

Charges: (20% discount for siblings)

After school:	€75 per week. (1.40-6.00p.m.) (exact time to suit individual schools) €20 per week (1.40-2.40 p.m.) Hourly rates also applys

Holiday club	€125 per week
Curriculum day	€20 per day

Cosy Cats will meet parents' needs by:

...providing hot meals cooked in its modern kitchen (special dietary needs catered for)
...employing dedicated and appropriately qualified staff
...facilitating homework
...providing transport within the catchment area from Cosy Cats to school and / or from school to Cosy Cats
...opening early - closing late
..we can cater for some children with special needs- enquiries to the manager welcome.

Out of school childcare services will include:
