The church was built in a neo Gothic Style and has a rectangular shape. Many local families such as the Wynnes of Hazlewood and the Armstrongs helped to finance the church furbishment. The stained glass East Window is especially fine. It was built in the 1880s and bears the inscriptions "Consider the lillies of the fields"; "I am the bread of life"; "The righteous shall flourish"; " I am the Vine" ...on each of the lower panels.. |

| There are many fine memorials in the church to families of the area, former rectors and to those who fought in both world wars - including a memorial to women involved in the wars |

The present organ (pictured be\low) is the third to have been installed in the church and was added in 1915. The acoustics of the church are particularily good and we look forward to its increasing use as an auditorium for worship and community events. The Church has an excellent tradition of music and is presently well served by the Parish choir and Mr. Alf Potter as organist. |

Refurbishment of Calry Church
The church is presently being repainted internally. New cushions are being provided for all the seating on the ground flour together with the laying of new carpets. Parishoners and friends of Calry are invited to consider making a memorial gift of an item for dedication by Bishop Ken Clarke at the Songs of Praise Service on 11th March at 7 p.m. We are grateful for the monetary gifts already received towards the budget of €30,000 for this work. Further donations most welcome.
