Area Activities

Fields of Life Project

We are integrally involved in a project to Build a school in Bajja Uganda. Nine of our parishoners participated in the Sligo Inter-Church group of 25 visiting Bajja in early July, 2007.

Calry Parish joins with The Cathedral Group and Drumcliffe Group in joint Holy Week Services. Guest Speaker will be Revd. John McCammon (CMS and formerly Rector of Lisburn Cathedral).Wednesday 4th April (Drumcliffe), Thursday (Calry) and Friday 6th April, 2007 (Cathedral Group) - all @8 p.m.. There will be other day-time events.

On Sunday 20th May, 2007, parishoners from parishes thoughout our Dioceses of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh converged on Ballyconnell for a Service of Celebration to highlight the progress of Parish Development in the Diocese.

A very active lay involvement enables a range of ministeries to be provided within the parish.

Calry Church is on the road out of Sligo to Enniskillen just after the Model Arts and Niland Centre and before Sligo General Hospital.
